I Want Summer Days To Last Forever

I Want Summer Days To Last Forever
Happy Thursday everyone! Today I woke up this morning and thought to myself "geez, the summer is almost gone" like seriously! I know this may sound strange but besides the heat waves, I'd say this was a pretty good summer! I was able to do a few vacations and hang out with my family which is what I really enjoyed. The summers are good for us because when the school year starts everyone goes about their separate ways and we don't get to hang out as much. Mainly because the school year is booming, homework is flowing and work life is back in session.

Since the last little bit of summer days are slipping by we decided to head over to the park. The park is one of those places where I can feel at peace and enjoy the weather for what it's worth. I just love the sounds of kids playing and swinging on the swing set. For some reason, it brings me a bit of joy!

Anyways, as the evening progressed, we decided to play an old-school game of hide and go seek! I don't know about anyone else but I was so good at this game! I found my sister Chloe in about 2.5 seconds because she did NOT find a good hiding spot! It was kinda sad to watch but none the less very funny!

And of course, we could not help but to pull out the good ole Connect Four! We love this game so much and it brings out the most competitive version of ourselves! It's so funny because the game seems so simple but if you don't pay attention you will surely lose.

And of course, there is a smiling picture of my other sister! We were cracking up because she kept saying that she was too big to hide in any of the places! I told her she should have just pretended for the sake of the game! Ha!

I also want to say don't be fooled by the sweet face above. This baby will whoop the socks of you when it comes to this game! There were so many times where I would try to help her but my poor choices only made her lose! I eventually just let her run the show and when I stepped back is when we ended up winning several times!

We were winning so good that I started to feel sorry for the girls! Moriah is quite the gloater when she wins and it's enough to make you want to throw the game across the room! She definitely gets that competitive spirit from our mama!

It's the simple days like this is what really makes me the happiest! I try to cherish all of my moments like this because one day it will all be different! But for now, I'll just hold on to summer a little bit longer and appreciate all of the small moments in between.

Best,
