Summer Butterfly Dress Vibes

Summer Butterfly Dress Vibes
Now you know I love a new dress I have to wear it 8,000 times and dedicate an entire blog post to it!!!
Summer Butterfly Dress Vibes
I found this little beauty for $13 on the clearance rack and I am absolutely in love. I went into the store wanting to get started on my Fall wardrobe but summer is still in full effect here in Texas so I decided to buy a few more cool dresses instead. I wasn't too upset about it because most of the items I purchased this year will definitely go into storage for next summer. I always take good care of my outfits that way I can either restyle them for Fall OR have them on hand for the following summer! But anyways, on to the dress shall we?!

What I really love about this dress is the cute straps around the shoulders and how I can tie them into a cute little bow! I used to be self-conscious about showing my arms like this because I always felt that they were too "bony" but now I am just embracing it all! I love that this little dress makes me feel confident, comfortable and most of all....cute! I am summer ready in this little fun dress and now I  feel like I can't be stopped! Ha!

I initally was going to leave it on the rack but  I couldn't get over the rich pink color of the dress. As some of you may know, pink is my favorite color but I normally don't wear it a lot of the time. What actually made me decide to go ahead and make that purchase was the butterfly prints! This dress has that perfect summery, tropical feel and I absolutely could not pass that up! I also decided to pair this dress with my new pair of mules that I purchased recently and my, of course, a casual brown tote bag!

I decided to take my dress out for a little spin to church this past Sunday and I received a few compliments. They couldn't believe it when I told them that the dress was only $13! Also, I want to point out that my sisters thought that my outfit was cute as well and they were pretty upset that I didn't pick them up one as well! I did clarify that this was the last "small" size and that they wouldn't be able to fit it anyways! I wasn't trying to be selfish but I will say that I was very distracted by all of the sales that were going on! Ha! Anyways, that Sunday we eventually ended up coming home and eating homemade tacos and having a chill day. I don't' know about anyone else but Sunday's always make me sooo tired. After church, I instantly want to get in my bed, eat and sleep for the remainder of the day! Thankfully, this past weekend I was able to do just that! How do you guys like to spend your Sunday's??

Best,
Sha'Carey
